2026/2027

What's New for the 2026–2027 Club Season?

New Team Structure

Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, REVC will transition from our previous Regional and Elite team structure to a three-tier development model:

DEVELOPMENTAL TEAM
PREMIER TEAM
POWER TEAM

REVC will form teams based on athlete evaluations and the needs of each age group rather than creating the same team levels at every age. Depending on the number of athletes attending tryouts and the overall talent and experience within an age division, some age groups may offer Developmental, Premier, and Power teams, while others may offer only one or two competitive levels.

Families should carefully consider travel, scheduling, and financial commitments before accepting a roster position, as consistent attendance is important to both player and team development.

financial
commitment

Club volleyball operates on a pay-to-play model, meaning the costs of practices, tournaments, facilities, coaching, equipment, and league memberships are funded by participating families rather than schools or public funding. REVC strives to keep costs affordable while providing quality coaching, competitive opportunities, and a positive developmental experience for every athlete.

As a nonprofit-minded organization, REVC actively pursues fundraising, sponsorships, and scholarship opportunities to help reduce financial barriers and increase access to volleyball in Humboldt County.

Season Dues

For the 2026–2027 season, team dues will be determined based on each team's final roster size. This approach helps ensure costs are shared fairly among participating athletes and allows REVC to provide accurate pricing once team rosters and competition schedules are finalized.

Season dues will be collected prior to the start of tournament competition and help cover the costs associated with operating the program, including tournament entry fees, practice facility rentals, club memberships and registrations, coaching travel and stipends, training equipment, insurance, and ongoing investments that support the growth and sustainability of REVC programs.

Our goal is to be transparent about costs while continuing to provide high-quality coaching, competitive opportunities, and a positive experience for athletes and families.
