The Redwood Empire Sports Foundation (RESF) was created to expand access to youth and collegiate athletics across Humboldt County and surrounding areas. We believe sports have the power to transform lives — teaching teamwork, leadership, and resilience while building confidence both on and off the court.

 

Our mission is to make quality athletic programs inclusive, affordable, and developmental for every player who dreams of competing, growing, and belonging. Through scholarships, camps, clinics, competition, and community outreach, RESF hopes provide opportunities that help athletes reach their full potential — regardless of background or circumstance.

 

Born out of the success and spirit of the Redwood Empire Volleyball Club (REVC), our foundation continues that legacy by creating funding for programs that nurture skill, character, and community connection. Together with local partners, businesses, and families, we’re building a stronger, more equitable future for sports in the Redwood Empire.
